Reading suggestion #3: Multilingual news portals on EU affairs

There are a few excellent sites on the web where you may read the content in several languages, not only in English or French.

Global Voices is a community of more than 500 bloggers and translators around the world who work together to bring you reports from blogs and citizen media everywhere. Global Voices is translated into more than 30 languages, among which Swedish, by volunteer translators.

Presseurop is a news website publishing a daily selection of articles chosen from more than 200 international news titles, then translated into ten languages. Swedish is not among these, but it translates also Swedish articles (published by Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet and other Swedish newspapers) into these ten languages. You can read the news related to Sweden here.

Europe Media Monitor gathers reports from news portals world-wide in 60 languages, classifies the articles, analyses the news texts by extracting information from them, aggregates the information, issues alerts and produces intuitive visual presentations of the information found.
