Who can apply: candidates who either hold a university degree completing at least three years of study or have successfully completed at least four years (eight semesters) of university studies;

Grant: currently € 1,000/month

Council of the European Union

Third-, fourth- or fifth- year university students

Who can apply: third-, fourth- or fifth-year university students who have to undertake a compulsory training as part of their studies
Starting dates and application deadlines (in brackets): 1 January – 30 June (1 October) or 1 September – 31 December (1 May)
Traineeship duration: 1-5 months

Court of Auditors

University students specialising in the field of law

Who can apply: students who have completed at least four semesters of university studies in a field of interest to the Court
Traineeship duration: maximum 5 months
Where: Luxembourg
Grant: paid (1,120 €/month) or unpaid
How to apply: complete the electronic application form and send it to the Court by e-mail

European Commission

Undergraduate, Masters or PhD students

Who can apply: students preparing an undergraduate, Master’s or PhD thesis and students who have to undertake practical training as part of their studies
Traineeship duration: 3-12 months
Where: Ispra (Italy), Karlsruhe (Germany), Geel (Belgium), Petten (The Netherlands) or Sevilla (Spain)

European Parliament

Students with a secondary school diploma

Who can apply: people who hold a secondary school diploma corresponding to university entrance; although you do not need to be currently enrolled in a university or equivalent level programme, priority is given to students who have to undertake a traineeship as part of their studies
Starting dates and application deadlines (in brackets): 1 January (1 October), 1 May (1 February) or 1 September (1 June)
Traineeship duration: 1-4 months
